Breakfast

Breakfast is a photographic exploration of the fast-paced nature of our society. I created this work because I have found myself rushing simple tasks in exchange for perceived efficiency. Instead of appreciating a carefully prepared dish, I would be distracted while eating quickly. I intentionally shot these photos with a blur to show how we don’t notice and take time to appreciate small moments of beauty. I believe that many people can relate to this feeling. I hope to prompt the viewer to slow down and appreciate little things in a fast-paced world.
