Airy and Dramatic Editorial Bridal Shoot
The strong architectural details of the Hare Krishna Template in Spanish Fork, Utah lent themselves perfectly to the strong shapes and shadows of this editorial bridal shoot. With gorgeous model Dieumerci, a detailed embroidered wedding gown, and this stunning location, this shoot became a work of art.
This editorial bridal shoot was featured on Utah Valley Bride! You can see the full feature here.
I love using natural light at different times of day to dictate the mood of a photoshoot. This harsher mid day light allowed me to focus on the strong shapes that make these photos sing. The ornate edges of the Hare Krishna temple, the flowing silhouette of the wedding gown, and the delicate figure of the bride. Effortlessly mixing dainty details with hard edges.

This shoot represents a bold and powerful woman in her wedding season. Though her hair is filled with flowers, and her dress is classic and feminine - her strength still shines through. Thanks to the strong shadows and thoughtful posing, this is more than a bridal photoshoot - it is a narrative of a powerful woman, who is only becoming stronger in her wedding union.
These are the kind of stories I help tell through my fine art photography. I love to capture the juxtaposing personality traits that make up who you are as a person. It is the details that tell a story. If you would like your story captured through timeless imagery, contact me here.
