Moody and Elegant Wedding Decor In Shades of Blue

This moody wedding decor is giving me royal wedding vibes. Though this shoot styled by Ruby Jane Events was originally designed as a winter wedding, this elegant reception dinner can certainly be pulled off for any season.

When a blushing bride steers away from traditional pinks and ivories and makes an unexpected palette choice like this one, their wedding is sure to stand out. And choosing a single-color theme allows you to keep things interesting and dynamic with as many shades of that color as you choose. Throughout this gallery you will find shades of blue ranging from sky to periwinkle to, of course, royal blue. And because it is the sole color of the decor, using this many hues works!

I love how the details of this venue fit so perfectly with this wedding reception theme. The plaster crests above every window feel like a royal ballroom. The diamond sconces match the bride’s tiara! This wedding venue is located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Fine Art Wedding Photographer, I am based out of Utah but am available worldwide!
